Smok Rolo Badge Review

Like the Smok Novo, I purchased this mod myself. So this is a 100% honest review. Here it is. The Smok Rolo Badge. I first came across this pod mod at our local vape shop while I was waiting for my Smok Novo to be delivered. I decided I would return to the shop to purchase it if nicotine salt e-juice turned out to be 'the thing' to help me stop smoking. What comes in the box: The mod, 2 pods (or cartridges), a micro-USB charging cable, a needle-tip bottle, and a manual. While many reviewers say that Smok ripped off the design from the Suorin Drop, I don't mind. I like the inverted drop shape. The one I purchased has a matte black finish. Most of the other colors for the Rolo Badge are chrome. While super shiny, my guess is they show fingerprints to a horrendous degree. That's the main reason why I went with the matte black one. The battery in this device is 250mAh, so it definitely doesn't last as long as the Smok Novo. However, I purchased it to be my ...

Smok Novo Review

Let me begin by saying, I was NOT given one of these little pod mods. I bought it shortly after they were released. So this is a 100% honest review on this device. Isn't it adorable? I think so. And the size and shape is one of the things I love about it most. It is about the same size, and has the same feel, as a cigarette lighter. Coming from a pack and a half a day habit, that feel really helped me. With such a small size, it is easy to drop it in your pocket and head out, even women's pockets. Oh, and the mod shown? Smok calls that Royal Blue.... Their Blue one is the dark blue. Yes, that bothers me. I think they have them reversed. I *thought* I was ordering the dark blue one. Oh, well. What was included in the package? The mod, two pods, a teeny tiny micro USB charging cable (it's 4" long), and a manual. Like many pod mods, this little device does not have a button. It's air activated. That just means you place the mouthpiece in your mouth and inhale....

How it all began

My journey from smoking to vaping has taken several years. My husband first told me about e-cigarettes over 10 years ago. He was in South Korea and they were really big there. So he told me about them in the hopes I'd switch over. I tried several brands and yeah. That didn't work. The flavor was wrong, the weight was wrong, etc. Fast forward to about 2 years ago. My son turned 18 and he insisted on getting a vape mod. Like many teenagers, he'd experimented with them when he was 17, but waited until he was 18 at least to get his own. Considering that's about how it went with me starting smoking, I didn't get after him much. So, I entered a vape shop for the first time in my life. What struck me the most was the smell. Have you ever been in a vape shop? They smell amazing. After tagging along with him a few times to buy more e-juice, I finally decided to try it myself. I bought myself a Smok Alien mod. That was probably my first mistake. It was way more complic...
